Deny summoning has some drawbacks I hear, such as also not allowing you to word or teleport... Another thing is that it is a magical affect and can be dispelled if the conjurer is slept... What you end up with is a conjurer slept, dispelled, maladicted and all, then summoned away from his mobs so he's pretty screwed even if PWK doesn't finish the sleeping cursed conjurer... If I'm wrong about anything, let me know.
