My guess is the conjurer is closer than you expect when they send it to you, then they word and run to the Master's cabal hoping the conjurer will wait to bring you until they get there.

If not then it's truly fucked up that a conjurer can summon you from Kiadanah to Haon Dor.

It'd be nice if it was capable from adjacent areas only and the nightgaunt would drop you to where it was sent from, so if you're in Kiadanah the conjurer can send it from Arkham and you'll be dropped in Arkham.

This will never happen because things like this are meant to be overpowered(every other class has that one thing, well except paladins).
