I think nightgaunts now leave when it's daylight. It didn't leave in one of the logs(Septach's I think) and it's been changed so that they do.

All this really does is force a conjurer to pay more attention to when they send them at you as it'd be dumb to do so at 4am when you could do it at 10pm.
