I see you've extrapolated my attitude in posting with the same shining accurate thought that decided clairvoyance was eyes of intrigue and that there's no reason to be a good or evil conjurer. No offense, but did you pass those logic classes?

In other words, I was trying to offer some hope.
>(That's a nice way of putting it without the smugness I would've added, which I will do so now)---- BUT I DO!
You might have added that. You might have been thinking that. Fortunately you're not me.
>Even he himself 'defended' his statement as comparing himself as a Ph.D. vs. students. Yet, in real life situations, if a teacher says something weird, a student can ask questions and get an answer. Oh here, we can ask, but until you're ready to answer, just exactly what is your point? That we're dumb? We don't know as much as you? We have no clue how to play a game that you wrote? Oh wow. What a refreshing idea. I never knew that.
The point is to wait, see, learn. Don't try to argue about something you don't understand and make an ass of yourself.
Ponder this: Suppose someone posted here saying that thieves were overpowered because the fact that they had bash, summon, power word kill and sanctuary made them too tough. How would you respond? If you're relatively kind, you'd tell them they were wrong. But suppose that they persisted in that instistence, arguing on the basis of completely and demonstrably incorrect 'facts'? Would you take them seriously?

If such a class existed, I might agree with you.

Done. And might I ask that you not attempt to dignify lies, speculation, and misinformation in the future by attempting to build a logical argument from them.

Not so much as the statement itself, but rather, the attitude behind it. There are things that we can all agree that are best left unsaid. That is one of 'em.
The whole statement doesn't give any information, but merely points to player's deaths with the underlying message, you're doing something wrong but you just don't know it
The point there is: There's a solution if you look for it. Meaning, if you have a favorite character that isn't a conjurer, they haven't been wholly destroyed or made useless by the introduction of a new class. There are solutions and tactics out there, though you may not see them immediately.
Going back to conjurers. I am not even going to bother playing one nor playing against one until it's fixed. I see no point in fighting a class that can eye you, call a monster that can bring it's victim from within a cabal to another area near underdark where you have no chance of escape whatsoever.
THAT, is just my humble opinion. Feel free to comment.
