Absolutely. That's entirely possible. You sound a bit defensive, and that's unneccesary. I didn't say he was right or wrong to have it, I just said it was strange. As for Saison, I don't know his player, but he strikes me as a seasoned player, so I *suspect* he knows what it does, but I'm perfectly happy to assume that he is letting his character find out the first time. I wonder, though, if he is that "Complete" a roleplayer in that he makes each character learn the way around galadon, and everything else he learns about the mud from character to character. *shrug*
And since I *do* know what it does, and it is magical, and that this *is* an ooc forum, it is entirely acceptable to comment on it in the manner we did.
