Ok, I refuse to believe that the imms would unleash these things on Thera without some way to "easily" dispose of them. There has to be something that every class can do either universally or something special for each class that can get rid of these damn things.

Since I'm considering these things public enemy number fucking one let's look at some possibilities.(The sooner these things are figured out the sooner I will enjoy the game again).

A)Fairie Fire/Fog-The like shadows, they like moving silently, maybe forcing them completely out of the shadows is the key.

B)Clearly they don't "see" like we see. Maybe they "see" in infrared, or motion-detection, or some weird shit like that. Might I suggest going somewhere hot, like Kiadana. They can't be blinded and are faceless so they have to see some other way.

C)There has to be some way to make yourself safe. Somewhere you can go to avoid these fuckers. Might I suggest getting a group together one day and gathering up whatever it is you have to gather to get into hell and each of you carry about 5 of them. Then, when you see 45 master conjurers show up you can sit inside hell, because surely they can't drag you out of there. You might also try sitting in a room that is OBVIOUSLY well-lit, like the brightly lit rooms in the ruined keep.

D)pass door is a must nowadays because nightgaunts will apparently take you anywhere, including nogate/nosummon rooms. Oh what a happy day it will be when they starting dragging you into the mausoleum or the mists of shadar logoth or someplace like that.

E)Logic would have it that they can't pick you up when they're laying on the ground, so lashing/tripping/bashing/throwing/roundhousing like a fucking madman might help.

F)It doesn't lag you when they throw you down, this is obvious from the above log, so you might try to spam something that you can't use in combat and just wait for them to throw you down. Examples might include Cold Be Sleep, quaff teleport, hide, c 'duo, and the like.

Just some ideas, I seriously suggest faerie fire though, it just SEEMS logical. Although logic would tell you that these things wouldn't be a welcome addition to the game, so the imms might not be working with logic.
