since we've all had fun guessing what conspiracies immortals are involved in...and who we're out to get...and how in general we're just up here to get our rocks off, on a power hungry trip (which is all true, mind you...otherwise how could we enjoy doing what we do?) I thought I'd post a small snippet of a 'conversation' I just had with someone...I hope you enjoy it. I'll also go on to say this isn't me saying 'oh poor me, it's hard to be an immortal' I enjoy being an immortal...I have as long as I've played...and this is far from the first asshole I've had to deal with. But if you ever wonder why we're not as 'nice' or 'kind' as you'd like us to be, well it's comments like this from people who break rules that tend to make us a little unsympathetic:
Melkor says 'you get a lot of pleasure from this? feel like a big powerful man in your mud world? you get all excited and jack off after you keep a few people from enjoying themselves? fuck you'
now why was I yelling at Melkor? first of all, anyone who knows Tolkien will recognize the name...and know that *boggle* the first three questions of the character creation screen. And now the second reason...he was grouped with three other people from his site...so I suspected something, transferred them...talked to them, let the other two go....and yet, because I can not change the name of a level 2 character...I get the above. So I leave you with this...think about how you treat others, before you start posting an "Immortals cheat" bitching post.
