Rule of thumb: if it casts some kind of spells, its not good. If's its invisible, its not good. These are a few notable exceptions to this as my most erudite foru, posters will be sure to point out, this is a general rule, not hard and fast. But this you CAN try to use as a guildline.
There are a great deal of items that have a 'magical' flag on them that is o.k. for a rager to wear. Dont worry about the flag, worry about what is does (or doesnt do).
