Remember, she also worked very hard to get her skills when they are. Of all the villages, thieves are the best equipped to handle a form IF they get the jump. If you had gotten it, she would still be fleeing, or tried something else (more likely). Just getting your major form does NOT make you invinceable, nor should it.

And HEY! Dont you dare talk down about thieves, they are VERY strong in thier own right.
