When I was Mhorham, the same sort of thing happened five times in a row. I was convinced it was an Imm conspiracy. Sure, the first time you think "damn link!" Second time it is annoying, and even the third is something you can forget. But after five in a row deaths where your screen freezes and the next thing you see is you at your pit, well, you begin to think the Imms are screwing with you.
Needless to say, that was not the case and it was just horrible bad luck. In the end I found that part of my phone cord had been torn and I think that might have contributed to my general bad link for the first six months of my time at cf.
