Where do you call up to copyright an area on a MUD? It seems pretty silly to me that an area written would be reserved for only one MUD, I mean, as long as you give credit where credit is due it's not really "stealing" it. And as long as you're not selling an area (ie using it on a pay-to-play MUD) I don't really see what the problem is. I mean, you can record a multi-billion dollar movie off of HBO and watch it all you want, but as soon as you sell it you're in the wrong. It just seems to me that using an area from a MUD is kinda like using a paragraph from a book in an essay, as long as you cite it you're in the clear. Anyways, it's not like Dioxide is going to be sued, well, he could be but it wouldn't stand up in any real court of law seeing as how he downloaded it from a public FTP site. In conclusion, get a life, the lot of you.
