Yes it would be nice if there was a constant high level of competence in the cabals, let alone the ragers. Skill at fighting and roleplaying is always fun to go up against, if sometimes frustrating.

To blame the leader is not always an option. The problem, from the leader standpoint, is that someone can have a dynamite interview, get inducted, and be little or nothing like the person they claimed to be.

There have been several logs and many more rants pointing up behavior that may seem unbefitting of the ragers. As with many cabals, a fresh batch of recruits often come in without knowing what is expected of them. You can complain, you can post logs, you can do any number of things. Here's a few things I think might help deal with these "problems".

a. The leader, the veterans and the more experienced take more of a teaching role (assuming they have their act together). As with many cabals, a fresh batch of recruits often come in without knowing what is expected of them.

b. I imagine the immortals keep an eye on the ragers, and I would expect that they'd get a swift kick in the butt if they do something they shouldn't. If you see a blatant problem, send a note to the immortals of the ragers so they keep their eyes a bit more focussed on the right people.

c. As a player, take one of three or so routes. 1. Ignore them, if they keep it up they'll be seen. 2. Get your friends and pummel the said foe into a bloody pulp. 3. Challenge the rager, maybe enlighten him with some history of ragers that you knew and the way they acted.

I would warn against yelling, screaming, complaining just because that seems like one of the quickest ways to get a point ignored. But I'd agree with you that the overall quality of the ragers seems to be a bit lower than in the past. I say show 'em up somehow and maybe they'll learn. Ok so maybe they won't, but this too shall pass.

As far as pathetic goes, I've seen much worse.
