As far as swordplay is concerned, a feint is often used in fencing as a diversionary tactic. One makes a "feint" attack in one direction, only to draw his opponents defenses away from his true target. Therefore in CF feint is just a little bit off, as in it should have an attack immediatly after. But that would be too much like riposte that you can choose when to happen.
