Well, when I first started playing CF and got that first character of mine to around level 20, I had my first experiecne with an Imperial Gangbang. And the old mentailty of Ragers was a one-on-one fight, to TEST themselves, because remember, they live in a Barbarian lifestyle. So, if anyone else agrees/disagrees, or has any specific back-up points to what I have said, please post them as I am sure many will disagree.
Well, needless to say, I immediately felt cheated at the injustice of it, the cowardly B.S. factor of Empire was at a new all time height.
And then later on I had a run in with a Rager, one on one, I got my ass beat, not because of superior numbers, but because of superior skill.
Of course, I don't have that happen much anymore, it made me have some great respect for them.
Just like I do for Master's. Because they work, they EARN their skills.
Strength and physical skill are what they're all about, if you don't believe me try reading some Celtic and Norse history books.
So, Now that Ragers have started Gangbanging just as bad as Imperials the whole theory of them is going to hell. True, it may be effective, but as far as the RP goes,
you might as well flush it down the toilet. Think of this...
Instead of three Imperials with moderate skills gangbanging you, you now have three or more, bad ass warriors
who have perfected a good deal of what they know and have Deathblow, resisting, and so forth at their disposal.
Hmmmm....gee, they shouldn't get Deathblow if they are going to abuse it like that, they are an HONORABLE cabal to some extent.
And yes, I firmly believe that's the way they should be. I think the Village has great potential, and is one of the funnest cabals (when you're not reequipping all day =p)
