Thanks for the advice, but being the cowardly person I usually am I don't usually attack anyone that has 9 ranks on me especially if they're with someone else. Being a rager and all I felt sort of obligated especially after Urus died. I'm surprised I didn't die during the fight while Kanipe was there.
Also, the second time was shortly after he came into pk range and I'm too foolish to set an alias or button to attack him and too stupid to leave the room and come back.

You're playing with fire on so many levels. No matter how decked you are, and how well the fight is going, if the necro gets a chance to break combat and get one spell off, you're dead the majority of the time (c.f. Ikarixol vs. Athrakagar, old log that used to be on Glimo's). So if they rescue or flee/return and you can't redirect in time for whatever reason, be it a missed pincer or just lag, you die. Also, daggers are an awful spec for necro-killing... and just wait 'til you have to deal with liches... ("Hah, I severed your artery! Uh... what the hell, no blood?")
Nepenthe I think it was, put it rather nicely a while back.... it works out beautifully the way people who sit at 40-41 to PK just out of hero range end up being Spectre-fodder.
