If I was a creature of the night and shadow, I WOULDN'T WANT THE CRACKLING, GLEAMING PRESENCE OF ELECTRICITY AROUND ME. So lightning shield is out.

If I was a creature of the night and shadow, I'D RUN AWAY AS SOON AS I WAS FAERIE FIRED.

If I was a creature of the night and shadow, I'D BE LIKE THE REST OF THE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT AND SHADOW AND THINK I COULD DO EVERYTHING MYSELF WITHOUT OUTSIDE AID. So haste, armor, and so forth is out.
