I do have to side with Diarmuid a bit here in that not only is a five-person pk team sick at that range, it should go against everything the Ragers stand for. They are supposed to defeat magic because magic-users are weak, and ragers are the epitome of courage and strength. Except..they rarely show it.

If Mendeiron were a bard in his mid-thirties who had obviously travelled with mages in the past, he would have been ganged by any rager who wants to boost his ego. Now, that the ragers want their purposes served, they are utilizing both a healer and a bard, who I know for a fact have used tons o magic (as does anyone willing to admit) no to mention having some decent magical eq. Of course, the ragers are able to look this at hero level, because their goals have changed, i.e. not so much beat the shit out of anything with 2 legs, but whatever happens to be their goal at the time, i.e. holding the orb.

I'm amazed that the Immortals don't frown on this kind of thing. If I were one of the Gods of Battle, I wouldn't un-induct these ragers, but I would take away their little powers and see how 'courageous' they are then.

- There's a difference between GROUPING with someone they know uses magic, and killing everyone in thera. They were in a group with mendeiron, who groups with mages, uses magic, all the time. And they know it. n/t Master 14:56:17 10/13/99 (0)
