Sure, as I said, -ac isn't all *that* useful.
You certainly wouldn't outfit completely for
-ac, not in the way you would gear for +dam,
or +hp (not and expect to win fights).
However, to say that -ac is completely useless
is a mistake. I personally know of at least
one situation where what your ac rating is
can mean the difference between life and death,
and yes, at Hero Rank.
