> (A) is a bit sketchy actually... buffet tends to knock fliers out of the room in my experience, and in the half-second it takes you to figure out where they've gone, they are likely realizing that they've gotten their ass kicked, and any commands they may have foolishly spammed in will dissipate instead of resulting in their death. The problem with your argument is that you're assuming they are foolishly spamming commands, and you are ignoring the lagging affects buffet has on the target. Since invokers have not many good ways of keeping people in combat (Quicksand taking a bit of preparation, pebble failing more than pugil, and buffet which pushes people around), being able to combine a bit of lag with hideous damage is my choice over simply hideous damage. >If you're solo and your prey isn't caught in quicksand, the only way to kill them is to kick their ass so quickly they don't have time to realize they're getting their ass kicked. For that to work, you're basically going to have to kill them in two rounds.. since after that most normal players are going to have their head back on their shoulders. Further, if your target isn't sneaking or moving quietly, you'll have a better idea of where they are going than they will. (Obviously your invoker was far more successful than mine at slaughtering the masses so most would suggest keeping my mouth shut at this point, but I'm a glutton for punishment) > Geyser/geyser/geyser is a good bet in this case. Before pillar got toned down, of course, pillar was the only was to go. Obviously.. > Of course, take what I say with a grain of salt, given that I'm the accepted paradigm of "good, but not perfect." Come now, how accurate would my test be if you didn't come back as yourself? I would be the laughing stock of CF! ...Rome...
