Nesam would never declare war on entropy, for the village's only war is with magic. But when something hinders the village's ability to destroy magic or when someone associates with a mage, then they must be dealt with. THIS is why the village took the equation. NOT because Nesam was attacked. In fact, Nesam had forgotten all about it...and was actually willing to forgive Neblarkan until he heard of his attack upon Gelkof (a veteran of the village). Many things contributed to the final decision of taking the equation. Neblarkan was just one of them.
> that the entropists do not act as one. Nesam does not think this way. Neblarkan, a member of entropy constantly attacked Nesam's villagers. Then Nesam watches Zorszaul, Quimtir and Neblarkan summon villagers one by one trying to kill them off. *SO NOW NESAM SEES THE ENTROPIST WALK WITH MAGI* This makes the members of entropy corrupt. Not to mention all the times that we went to raid and Neblarkan would have doppled somebody else and then assassinate us as we raided the Tower.
