Back when Knights were still around, I had an
assassin of the 42nd rank...and acually, assassinate
was pretty easy to perfect because it...well..
acually never worked for me. So whenever it'd raise,
it'd be because it failed...so it would go up by
two instead of just one. "blah blah blah fails, you learn
from your mistake" Same thing happens with spells and
skills. But that was back in the day when it
didn't seem to ever work...I could have been cursed
by the god's though, who knows! ;)
