I am afraid you ragers let it go much too far.
My suggestion is you shouldn't have faced him
alone. Yes, courage is good, but this abomination
can't be defeated by a lone rager I think.

I don't know about current ragers but I never felt
it wrong when two/three ragers fought me, it was more
even then and I was by far less dangerous than
Palan.

If someone alone can kill Palan, that isn't a rager
unless he somehow manages to assassnate him (he sees
hide so it's not easy).

Maybe a good necro can beat him, maybe some sylvan
shaman (Pikel?) can do it too but not a rager, they
are too limited.
