> First of all, don't do this sarcasm crap in your reply. Sarcasm will get you nowhere. When I ask for something, I usually have a sphere chosen, have a character laid out, have a detailed background, then go to the god of the sphere that I follow. I explain briefly that I was raised darting between the legs of my enemies, and was taught that the use of a shield causes your legs to turn purple, so I am more adept at dodging. Then explain why...give your history, etc...prove tht you're not just some worthless jerk. If they say no, go do some stuff. Go level, go kill, go roleplay. Go to an out of the way guild. Talk to the guildmaster mob for a few minutes. Chit chat. How's the weather. How about them cowboys? Hey think you could teach me how to dodge? Pray [god] "I have sought out the master [class] of [city], as I saw in a dream" or something equally corny. Maybe if you're lucky your god will jump right on into the mob and talk with you. Perhaps he'll explain again why you can't dodge. Maybe he'll send you on a quest. who knows, right? > straight out saying "I don't have a sphere, but I want dodge instead of shield block" will probably get you laughed at (which it looks like it might have) > >
