Actually, if you wanted to jump to conclusions you'd look at these facts:

Arista and Lasha log in from the same site, within 3 minutes of each other.

Arista was 43rd level, Lasha was 18th level at the time the equipment was passed.

Arista deleted within 25 minutes of logging in. That was a quickly developed friendship.
