If people know who your past character was with your current new one, it is wrong. People used to do this in the past. It kinda makes it unfair for Joe-rager to have to go through a long drawn out interview process. Then you have this other guy, maybe he was a good rager, maybe not, but the leader knows who the person behind the character is and inducts him without any interview process.
