For those of you who think Arbiters are all idiots... don't be too hard on them, when they have assholes like me to deal with. I'm normally very, very sympathetic and understanding with Arbs, having played one myself, unless I happen to be playing an arrogant jerk like Xaril. :P You tell Jarindyl 'No, he is not. I suggest you handle it.' You tell Jarindyl 'I will not be bounced from arbiter to arbiter like a child's plaything.' You tell Jarindyl 'I already told Jaldean, and he sent me to you.' Jarindyl tells you 'Indeed.' --- Jarindyl tells you 'Tell Leirin to speak with me.' You tell Jarindyl 'I can't see him any better than you, Watcher.' You tell Jarindyl 'Perhaps if you refer the victim to Jaldean, something will be accomplished?' Jarindyl tells you 'There are two ways you could have meant that last remark, and both of them insulting.' You tell Jarindyl 'I suggest only that you take the same course of action you took when Leirin requested your help.. it seems to be a fair tactic for evading a case in which there is scant evidence.' Jarindyl tells you 'You are stepping above yourself, XXaril, making assumptions on things that you don't know as much as you think you do.' Jarindyl tells you 'Do you wish to know why I shifted the case? Two reasons. One, it was a theft case and Jaldean could locate the items.' Jarindyl tells you 'Two, I was already involved in a case, and Jaldean wasn't.' You tell Jarindyl 'You could do the same things as he and simply ask that he locate them.' You tell Jarindyl 'Warriors, even given their lack of the locate spell, are not exempt from arbiter duties.' Jarindyl tells you 'Xaril, your arrogance does you ill.' You tell Jarindyl 'Arrogance is a far better trait than ignorance.' Jarindyl tells you 'But that's the clincher... You ARE ignorant, just now and about this situation.' Jarindyl tells you 'You have no idea what you're talking about, you really don't, and you're simply giving the impression of a child throwing a tantrum.' Jarindyl tells you 'I have never, EVER, sidestepped a case simple because I didn't want to handle one.' You tell Jarindyl 'I know quite a lot about this situation, Jarindyl. I am far more familiar with most things than even those involved.' Jarindyl tells you 'Your arrogance appears to have blurred your vision greatly, Xaril, and assumptions are the worst and most fatal mistake that can be made.' You tell Jarindyl 'I assume little... I act upon what I know, not upon what I might make speculation upon.' Jarindyl tells you 'Then your information is faulty, Eye of the Scarab. I did not sidestep the case. I transfered it to one that I felt would be better able to field it for the reasons I gave.' Jarindyl tells you 'I was, however, unaware that at the time Jaldean was just returning from the Inferno, which is why he tried to transfer it to me.' You tell Jarindyl 'Then I must applaud the sincerity of your effort if not the ability of the arbiter you relegated the responsibility to.'
Jarindyl tells you 'Aye, Jaldean is already handling the case. I suggest you speak with him.'
