I think anybody that plays a rager lightwalker just for request is pretty stupid. I mean, as a rager you can pretty much kill anything you want to get the equipment from it. There aren't really any super fantastic ubermobs with terrific gear that a rager couldn't kill. Request is nice and all, but a neutral rager can probably equip just as well as a lightwalking one can. There is a very good reason >>>NOT<<< to play an evil battlerager though. That reason is ranking. A rager isn't going to rank with masters, empire, and very seldom an arbiter or Scarab. That leaves Sylvan, Dawn, Troupe, and Entropy. Sylvans, Dawnites, and Troupers aren't evil, so you'll want to be able to rank with them and you won't be doing that with an evil battlerager(Sylvans and Troupers can theoretically group with evils, but there are few troupers and general and fewer still sylvans that will group with an evil). The best route to go with a battlerager is probably neutral, but I'd go lightwalker with one before I went evil for the simple fact that finding ranking partners is easier.
