Sharing such information is against the *rules* of the game, which override IC concerns. If DawnieA asks DawnieB, "Hey, how do I do the Talisman of Exploration quest?" the proper response is "My apologies, but such information was not meant to be shared," and not "Well, first you do A, then you do B, then you do C." It's not purely IC, no. But it's necessary for OOC game balance.
