Asking which is the best class solo, is rather silly, IMHO, since almost every character class/race/cabal/religion/etc combo you could think of has strong points and weak points...and most of it depends on how you play best. Are you a hunter? Are you good at having someone jump you and beating them back? Etc...etc..etc.
Even mob fighting (though far less so) falls under this, since it depends on how you fight, and what you like to do while fighting. Granted there's less variety in what you can/should do when fighting mobs, since it's not another human you're against, but a program. Just my $.02
