I believe they give iron skin, which doesnt resist, only ac which is crap, they also rot!

More people play at random times rather then specific times i think, you will also be waiting a damn long time for him.

Well, everything is intact, they dont delete areas, they simply remove access to them.
The knight entrance is left as a suttle hint that the cabal could be rejoined if the appropiate
actions were made. I believe the imms want the mortals to do it, i.e., they wont let a Gareth mort do it.
