I'm sorry but it's my turn to complain now. I have no real complants about your decisions. If you say I'm not ready to become an arbiter. That's fine with me. The only thing that does bother me is when you say my judgement is poor and give no reason as to why my judgement is poor. You arbiters always say what you are sick and tired of people complanning about arbiters being courrpt and having no reason or support for the acusations. Well that bothers me too. If you say my decisions are wrong at least give me a few reasons why. If I give wrong answers at least say which ones are wrong and why they are wrong. No debat went on during the interview. I was posed a questions and sometimes they would just move on without a single word, I would just be told that is inncorrect period with no clearifcation. I just want to know why I"m incorrect. When I tried to ask after the interview, I was given no answers then either. They then tell me I should seek out the answers myself. So when I try to do that, by asking other arbiters I am told that should be descuised with those who interviewed me. In other words they gave me the run around, either that or they answer my questions with more questions. *sigh* But I must admit not all arbiter are like this. Visvhar is very good at interviews, becuase if he was to disagree with you he will give you his reasons as to why he disagreed with you or why he thought your answers are incorrect (my intention is not to draw him into this). I commend him for his style, and sugguest that other arbiters who conduct interviews follow his style. > BTW, I don't recall ever saying that every answer you gave was wrong, just that you showed poor judgement overall and an inability to assess a situation and use the knowledge you own... so answering the opposite to all of these questions won't help you much either. > (I'm wondering, though, if you got the answers wrong because you didn't understand the questions; at least half of what you posted as 'the questions' here was mis-heard, mis-interpreted, or just flat out wrong... Thing is, it's your job to ensure that you understand the question. The Interviewer can't read your mind, you know.) I did not ask questions because to me what was intended by the questions were clear to me. Maybe I did interpet the questions wrong, but I always supported my answers with reasons as to why I answered the way I did. When I tried to pose a question I was told, "that is not the question I am asking". > Oh yeah, I also wanted to say that the views of my friend may not reflect my own views. =) In all my days at Thera I have only seen a few courrpt arbiters (that maybe due to lack of run in with the law). But examples of corruption I've seen are; one memorable arbiter decided to flag everyone, and I do mean everyone. Another form of coruption I've seen is when arbiters return items they have no need for keeping the prime items for themselves, I don't mean the weapons either. (this seems to the most common form of coruption I run into) I have confronted a few about this and the reply I get is that his fellow arbiters would find these items useful. ps I mean no disrespect to any of the arbiters, for I am sure they are doing the best they can.
> Sorry, Rayth ol' buddy... you don't get any free passes from me. If I give you the 'answers' here (not that some of these even *have* definitive answers) then you just parrot them back to me or whoever the next time you come for an interview, and you get in to Arbiters based on that, and we've got one more incompetent Arbiter on our hands -- just what your friend doesn't want.
> That's the last word from me on this particular interview. It wasn't so much fun that I want to go over it again and again.
