First off, they're not getting paid for it. They are doing it to have fun... People like you think that they are obligated to keep it running but that is not true. You must remember that they have real lives too and that they can at any time take the MUD down forever if they feel like it. I'd understand if some big company owned Carrion Fields (as a pay-to-play MUD) and needs to change employees, but these people take time out of their days in real life to keep up a MUD that they are definitely not profitting from and at times are losing some of their own hard-earned cash. You have the nerve to call them washed up and without passion? If they weren't passionate, would the MUD be changing daily? Would the MUD even be up? Learn to put yourself in someone else's shoes (hehe, don't expect me to say this IC) instead of acting like a disappointed high-paying customer or go someplace else.
