I have recently started my first invoker so I cannot help much, but I do know about the first few spells.

1. Level up to 10 by yourself using nothing but cyclone.
a.if cyclone perfects before then switch to earthquake.
2. Sit at level 10 and perfect earthquake, create water, and the touches.
a. sit in an out of the way spot to spam so no one will bother you
3. When you gain firewall, use that when you level up to...I dunno pick a level.
a. also sit in an out of the way spot for create spring, which you can spam

I do not know about the rest.....if you get enough mana find someplace to spam windwall
for icicle I just found a place with plenty of low level mobs that most people do not go to and I use icicle on them
