> Question 1:
> How do the various areas on the MUD interrelate, and relate to the history of Thera? I mean, there's a Tar Valon, and there are Aes Sedai, but there are no PC Aes Sedai (or any IC "channeling" system or whatever), and we're obviously not in the WoT world, since you can just traipse over into Middle-Earth, or Icewind Dale, or some stock ROM area, or whatever. How is this supposed to be RP'd? Is the world supposed to be a series of interdimensional links, or something? Do people in other areas fear Aes Sedai, the way they do in WoT? Is there a Dark One? Is there a Sauron? In short, when you're dealing with an area from a book, are you supposed to assume that all the history surrounding the book applies only in that localized area, or that it's universal (in which case, how do the various book histories interact?)

They don't, each place has it's own history, and shouldn't be taken in context of the books, but taken in context of it exists in Thera only.

> Question 2: What's the best way to RP tells? Is it assumed that all PCs have low-level telepathy and can communicate across vast distances of time and space? If you're engaged in a tell-conversation with someone, is it appropriate to say that you're "talking" to them?

Nope, that telepathic thing has been used as a means of RP before, but usually, you just assume tells to be like talking to a person.

> Question 3: What's the best way to RP death? I mean, "You've killed me for the last time, scumbag!" doesn't quite ring true. Are we to assume that death doesn't matter quite as much as IRL, since you know you're going to come back?

You still die, it's just your body is resurrected.

> thanks!

Don't think about how things might relate to the real world, or how books might influence an area.
