I can agree with that on a global whole, however I have to disagree on the aspect of it involving myself. :)
I use to *specifically* pick spheres which gods did not rule, Either under the Premise that I am a 'Godless' person, or under the concept that the spheres I wanted/liked, just so happened to not be ruled by anyone. :)
I personally, however have found it easier to get empowered under a sphere which noone rules, as opposed to one where you are bound to certain peoples 'when they are on'

Just play the role you like, and stick with it, If you're playing an empowerment class, you have to expect to put some extra effort into it.

> As shown in posts below, people don't choose their sphere on a RP aspect, as much as they do for the 'ill pick this guy because he's on' aspect. Empowerment by imms cuts down on the number of spheres empowerment characters choose from, because almost nobody is going to pick a sphere who's imm doesn't show up reguarly, or one where there isn't an imm at all.
