Character mixing (logging on and off when things are/aren't in your favor) is cheating and will be punished. And, in fact, we keep catching people doing it and they keep paying the price. That may vary depending on the circumstance (though blatant mixing will get you denied). I personally would like to see less cooperation between sects and more in-fighting. However, understand that if someone starts playing the anathema card, most players freak out and delete. When I saw that Genofen was asked which member of his party at one point was the weakest and that member was then booted without compassion -- then I thought I was seeing the Empire as it was orginally envisioned. That pisses a lot of people off, however. I don't know what is planned for them. I don't feel qualified to comment on what's going on with Masters or Sylvan Warders.
