Not only healing his wounds, but they cured his blindness
after he got dusted. (According to my sectmate's report-
I didn't see the curing.) I kept trying to sneak up for a
strangle, and his elemental or angel-thingy would let loose
a nasty area spell (for the centurions) to flush me out.
I was stone-skinned with endure up, all relevant skills mastered,
and his pets spanked me three different times. (flee, bind wounds,
other stuff, go back, get smacked around, flee, bindwounds, etc.)
I was happy to get out in one piece.

Either conjurers are really tough, or this guy knows his stuff.
For one thing, they're the mage that seems to care the least about
getting tigerclawed, and I doubt use my many ways to hurt his limbs
would do much. I used a weapon that wasn't "positive" or "negative"
to my knowledge, to get around those protections. It seemed like all he
did was sit behind sanctuary and transform (I didn't know he was a Master,
actually) and wait for his pets do take care of business. Never got magic
missiles, flashes, or other direct threats from him.

Area attacks like dusting- bad idea. You figure out why, but that
made things a lot worse.

Of course, caught without their pets, they're in big trouble. =)

Thanks! I'm sort of new here, but I'm getting the hang of
things.

We conferred in between getting our asses kicked,
and tried to vary our openers a bit. I'm willing
to give it another go, but I'm calling in the cavalry
to help next time. =)

It's a little scary when Masters don't even feel the urge
to scourge and mental knife. =)
