What is a good ranking pace?

Obviously sitting at one rank for months isn't it. Apparently ranking rather quickly to hero isn't it either because then people call you a "powerranking twit". So, I ask you, what's a good pace?

Is heroing in 100 hours to fast? How bout 200?

I'm a weak-willed fool so I feel that I must ask the power-elite like Observing Observer and Mendeiron and get their permission to take a piss before I do it.
