This is the first time i've posted a message here, new to the forum,
but i have a few ideas( probably mentioned before and forgotten, or
maybe existing to some extent already on cf.

1. other specialist wizards, like illusionists etc. ( with spells like multiple image
or Mislead (as per ad&d).<----To save you looking up creates illusion of you fleeing
but in reality you stay in the room and become invis.
Possibly even Disguise, with ability to write temporary descriptions and change name.

2. when practicing skills, maybe the percentage increase can be influneced by the relevant stat aswell as int
So that fire giants practicing axe, learn a bit better( still mainly int based)
In this way a highly dextrous, but foolish thief would get better at backstab or hide with one practice
than they would at rogue awareness or lore.
