It's a playerkilling AND roleplaying mud. It's like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. You need both the peanut butter and the jelly for it to be a PB and J. You can't just smear a bunch of peanut butter on there.

I'm not even going to get into Istendil. I don't know why he gets dragged into things like this.

Zulghinlour wasn't an imm at the time he was killing people. He had some ability/inclination to roleplay. That's mostly why he got the chance to be an imm rather than the bird with no wings.

Frankly, no, you weren't bad-ass, you were a vulture. I still wouldn't respect you if you were a bad-ass but couldn't roleplay your way out of a wet, open paper bag, but the simple fact is you're not. Seriously.

Not everyone is good enough at the game to be. For many of the players killing just isn't their thing and they don't want to be. Some people don't want to or can't put in the time to be 'bad-ass good.' Some people are slowly working their way towards bad-ass. Any and all of that I can respect and leave alone. Start saying you were 'so bad-ass we had to hinder you for being so tough' and you're going to get busted down.

Within the domain of air majors, Matraien was significantly better than Severyns, and a far superior roleplayer. (If you're one of Matraien's detractors, consider that a statement of just how far down the RP food chain Sev was).
