The whole purpose of Dawn is to keep hope and faith alive. Hope and faith that Light will overcome. They are more pacifists than anything. They are basically there to help people get out of jams. If they were to get an item they sure as hell better get some better cabal powers because thier asses would be grass in a cabal war.
