The highest stat of a human warrior is a 23 str so logically the best weapon spec is one that is strength based, instead of size based, like polearms, or dex based, like swords and daggers.

Therefore, I think mace is the best for humans with axe comming behind, only because it's hard to find axes to dual-wield.
