Scarab paladin is possible...though well, let's just say he'd probably have a mental breakdown...if you can't figure out why, don't try to play one.
Empire paladin, nada...must be LG for paladin, must be LE for Empire...simple game mechanics. Granted the rp would be impossible as well. Since a Paladin strives to defend the weak and down trodden...and Empire seeks to trod on the weak. Dichotomy of the bad type.
