> Cabals today are full, yes full, of morons.

Full of everyone that plays this game. The elitist are the ones not in the Cabals

> I don't personally want to remove cabals, I just want them to be elitist. Full of people that know what they're doing and who can roleplay worth a poo.

Right lets make the really good, imposible to beat and screw the average player.

> Just because you're not in a cabal doesn't mean you have to roleplay a pig farmer that spends all of his time on the range shoveling shit.

> Cabal membership should consist of those people that have displayed the ability to roleplay with the best of them. Playerkilling ability need not be a major factor unless the cabal wants it to be as such.

No why should it be only the best, and Yes they do have rewards, titles being one. Special forms, and skill are awarded for those that are excelent RPers. You just want to eleminate the player base by telling them screw you, we only want the elite to play here.

> CF has NO rewards for excellent roleplay. This comes from a relatively jaded point of view that IP means almost as RP when it comes to things such as cabal leadership, quest forms/skills, and so forth...but I digress.

answered allready

> By establishing cabals to be a privelege(sp) and not a right, you better the game as people begin to work towards that goal. Nowadays every newbie with 2 hours of experience and the know-how to read the cabal helpfile can get into a cabal. Hell, he can probably lead the cabal if he's from a new IP that hasn't any blemishes on it...but I'm digressing again.

No one said it is a right, you still have to do some roleplay to get in any Cabal. And if you really suck you will get kicked out. You just want to make it an empowerment type thing where you have to be extremely lucky or know something and elemintate any newbie from such things

> I'm sickened by such things as going ooc over cb. I'm sickened by seeing such things as leaders going OOC in tells(see post by "Chuckling Bard" or whatever below).

Tells are for OOC. If you need to go OOC use a Tell. I don't want to see OOC in cabal talk, or where everyone can see it.(yells, say, or even group tells I would rather be kept IC) However sometimes you need to say something OOC and a tell is the best place to use it. I am not condoning OOC but give me a break you freaks that say anything OOC should cause a person to be perm-banded.

> I work damn hard before I roll a char's stats to think of a role, backstory, and so forth. I feel as though it's all wasted when I see people who put zero thought into anything and still get into and/or lead cabals.

Why the crap do you let other people decide how you will play that character. If you don't like them leave them or kill them, stop whining about it.
