IMHO, the basic idea is the same: You need to try it before rejecting it. > 1) I will **NEVER** play an arbie (just because I really really hate f99king cop thing) > 2) I've never had a rager, and not going to have one, just because their rp seems really > 3) I used to hate the whole assassin class before revamp, though now I think it could be
But for the classes/cabals you listed, there are a couple more ideas:
You are blinded by a RL stereotype. "Cops are arrogant guys who walk around beating whoever the do not like and getting away with it"
Arbiters are NOT cops. They are quite different.
I prefer to think of them being closer to SWAT.
Anyway, someone has to do the job. Arbiters who are people add greatly to atmosphere of CF.
Would you like to be instantly flagged for any unlawful act, without being able to weasel your way out?

Still, sometimes (especially if you have a job that puts real pressure on your brain) you dream of leading a simple life, physical labour only.
This is exactly the case. Whatever they say about required roleplay, you generally can perfectly get away with "You use magic, me bash", without putting much brain on it, and set up a trigger that on "* tells you" would do "reply Ug...".
Anyway, no better way to polish your pkilling skills.

Assassins are nice. But.
They do not have the required economic backgroud, pardon my Klatchian.
The whole idea of assassins is getting paid for disposing of a target quickly, effectively, and without much fuss.
CF neither has the concept of hired killing, nor gold is of any importance.
Therefore, what we have is a class without purpose. Sad.
Still, it is fun to play a class that can kill people naked (or at least not necessarily die trying).
