The main thing that I have to comment on is again with the area spellbane. Being a berserker rager, I have leved the experience as well, and I can tell you that they can go through when both are of the same level. I recall a couple battles with Halon just outside the Tower, when I lost my life to him and his area spells. At the time, It was me and one other rager after him and Shenan. we attacked the golem and they came out, I jacked them both, then my partner fled and came back and we each took one. My partner attacked Shenan first and Shenan worded, so my partner went after him. Then I attacked Halon and we fought for awhile, and at first, I was baning his spells, but it didn't take long for them to start getting through, and when they did, it HURT; and that was with resistance up as well. I took a couple hits of gyser, and realised that I wouldn't win, so started trying to flee. I could flee fast enough and died. The point is, yes, it is hard to get your spells through, but they do go through, and especially if you throw in a couple tactics with it, like bringing the fight to the edge of town, and wait til her thirsts, then flee and run past the enforcer, or something like that, you have no problem with a thirsting rager. The other thing I wanted to comment on a bit was that no class is able to handle everyone else by themselves. When it comes to most anything else, an invoker, and especially one that's a Master, can clean the tables with them. I agree with Nepenthe that with the amount of things that the whole of CF can you to give themselves an edge in combat that Battle can't use, the powers of Battle are quite balanced out. You say that those things that everyone except Battle can use, shouldn't be put into the equation. Well, if they're not, and you balance things out so that invokers can handle a rager on their own, then as soon as that invoker goes and starts using the things that Battle can't the balance shift to the invoker in a heartbeat and the rager become meat for the mage. The way that the various classes and cabals are set up, there may be one thing that rips the place apart in one area, but then given a differnt competition, has a choice of run or die. That's how everything balances out in the end. You eaither make use of what you can, or you die. I've been trying to be civil in all of my posts as well, but it's that simple.
