Well, when I played Fogel, there was this gnome invoker
that had a real thing against the Empire, so he liked to attack
and hunt at the then Citidal. Anywho, my favorite thing to do
when he came along and started attacking the vanquisher was to
summon some ungodly strong mob during the fight waiting for him
to cast an area spell. actuall, this trick will work against any
one using an area attack *cackle*.
