I take into account the Conjurers and the Ragers when I say this. Does anyone else see that both classes have common, extreme offenses yet defenses based upon MUD knowledge?

It's like each class has a gross amount of offensive power that can lay waste to people easily, but that offensive power is countered by real-life MUD knowledge. Take for example Nightgaunts. The Immortals have been toting for quite some time that there is a way to defeat them easily, but we just haven't figured them out.

Nightgaunts represent a huge offensive capability for conjurers and their buddies by being a global summon and taking almost half your life. The defensive counter-action against nightgaunts though isn't as simple as "have the best equipment", "have dodge, parry, and shield block", or "don't be outside of your guild."

I don't know, it just seems that a lot of people are complaining about gang banging, nightgaunts, and other stuff when it seems like game knowledge of defense is the real reason people are dying easily.

Anyone else see this or am I just talking out my ass? ;)
