The three things at the top of Drust's wish list: a commune along the lines of the AP Iron Grip of Azazel, changing shield bash to something effective like bash, and removing/balancing worldbind. Does anyone think these are too radical and would strengthen the paladin class to too great a degree?
1. commune - 'Affinity': The paladin's blessed weapon (i'm not even suggesting a Holy Weapon like the AP Unholy Weapon here) can not be disarmed for the duration (duration = same as Iron Grip of Azazel)
2. skill - Bash: as suggested by others, change shield bash to bash. Paladins need *something* that potentially will effectively lag an opponent, and shield bash ain't it (APs have both bash and trip).
3. Worldbind: a single spell that completely neutralizes a paladin into merely a second-class warrior? That's a bit much. Let righteousness neutralize it? Remove worldbind? Give the paladin an equal commune that blocks evil characters from their deity/magic? (if a shaman's dispel magic can dispel a paladin's communes, this isn't that far-fetched). I'm really for just removing worldbind and therefore adding nothing like that to the paladin.
