No. But I also know that until the ragers numbers start to thin a bit, and those masters that are in hiding come back, the few that show up are going to be in a world of hurt for a little while. And yes, a fully shielded, transformed, shield, barrier, aura, ect invoker can stand up to a bit of a beating...but not against 4-5 assassins throwing, thieves cheapshotting, ect. Its a tough time to be a master. But damn, its fun. Im learning a shit load now, and each time I have my ass thoughtfully sent to me care of a rager ganging, I learn one more little piece of advice, and something to either do, or not to do in the future. But back to my post. As this player was asking, as a newbie playing a transmuter, one who probably doesnt know where all the nifty rods/staves are, then yes, his ass will probably be handed to him a few times in the course of his life. Perhaps not as much I was...but hey...when you play warriors exclusively for nearly 3 years, you kinda get gungho...it took me a number of good thrashings, and the orders of a IC friend of mine to stop me from charging 7 bloodthirsted battleragers solo in the hopes that seeing my little ass hoopin and hollering and bouncing spells of them like ping pong balls may just cause a bit of confusion and I may take one down with me. Of course...that never happened...well once...but for the most part it was hell. I will conclude by saying. Experienced invokers, and masters, can easily survive in thera with the surge in rager population. But, after going through my baptism by fire as a newbie rising, I can say that he will probably have some dificulty. And it would be nice at hero to have a few spare trains around, just in case. To rephrase my statement that apparently made Arcane think I was on crack "A large part of being a newbie mage in master is getting killed" I hope that clears things up. AL
